Biomedical Engineering at SIMATS Engineering provides quality education, with an orientation towards research and innovative development of health care product design and manufacturing. The department facilitates students to become skillful in all fields of biomedical engineering such as Sensor Design, Biomaterial and Artificial Organs, Rehabilitation Engineering, Medical Robotics, Radiological Engineering, Diagnostic & Therapeutical Equipment and Remote Patient monitoring using IoT. Biomedical Engineering plays a major role in medical diagnosis, curing and monitoring of patients to save a life. Students are encouraged towards hospital visits/training and industry internships for good placement opportunities.
