Researchers at SIMATS Engineering developed a Nickel Oxide - Lupeol loaded chitosan nanocomposite (Lup@CS-NiO) for efficient wastewater treatment, achieving 85.98% (AO) and 86.46% (RB) dye degradation under visible light in just 60 minutes. The nanocomposite demonstrated superior photocatalytic activity, long-term stability, and 100% recovery, offering a sustainable and highly effective solution for water purification.

**AI-Driven Biomass-Based Dye Remediation at SIMATS Engineering**
Researchers at SIMATS Engineering developed a novel mixed biomass from algae and Manila tamarind seeds for efficient dye adsorption, achieving 79.95 mg/g (EB) and 102.4 mg/g (BO) removal.
