OFFICE OF INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS
The International Office, SIMATS Engineering was established with a vision to promote and nurture academic and research collaboration with International Universities, Research Industries and Organizations functioning across the world. The key focus is to facilitate the students’ mobility for Semester Abroad Programme to acquire quality overseas education in the state-of-the-art technology. In addition, exchange of faculty between the Universities enabling the knowledge transfer to the student fraternity through the credit transfer courses, internship and post-graduate courses.

SAP
Semester Abroad Program (SAP) places a strong emphasis on internationalization, offering students a valuable opportunity to explore new interests and gain cutting-edge knowledge from a diverse global academic community. By participating in this program and pursuing elective courses at partner universities abroad, students not only broaden their academic perspectives but also create meaningful cross-border connections that can open doors to global career opportunities. This exposure to different cultures, languages, and competitive work environments enhances their professional prospects, making them more adaptable and well-prepared for international careers.
Mobility Program
Mobility programmes/ Short term visits give students the chance to gain a unique educational and cultural experience.
Students will be able to experience local culture and values in addition to learning about global teaching methods, which will deepen their understanding of other cultures. Short-term programs are available at partner universities across countries such as Malaysia, Dubai, Singapore, the UK, and Australia.
Research Collaboration
SIMATS Engineering, SIMATS is providing opportunity for the students to carry out research internships in both abroad Industries and universities with stipend. Many students have used this opportunity to gain real time experience in their field of interest. Students are given opportunity to do internship in countries such as UK, USA, Malaysia, Japan, Singapore, Dubai and Europe.
Immersion Program
An immersion program is specifically designed to help international students fully adapt to their new academic and cultural environment when they arrive in a host country. These programs provide opportunities for students to not only learn about the language but also to experience the culture, traditions, and day-to-day life of the host country. Foreign students from ASEAN, UK, African, and European countries participate in this immersion program
