Her groundbreaking Ph.D. research on infrared thermal imaging advanced non-invasive diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Dr. Usha Rani’s expertise includes thermal imaging, medical image processing, and biosignal analysis, with numerous high-impact journal publications. She is a passionate innovator in biomedical product development and healthcare solutions. Prof. Dr. G. Ramkumar
Dr. G. Ramkumar, Professor in Biomedical Engineering at Saveetha School of Engineering, SIMATS, Chennai, is recognized in Stanford University and Elsevier's 2023 and 2024 World Top 2% Scientists List. With 13 years of teaching and research experience alongside 10 years in the industry, he has published over 190 articles in SCIE/Scopus journals and IEEE conferences, earning 3100+ citations and an H-index of 40. His expertise spans Image Processing, Human-Computer Interaction, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, VLSI Design, and Signal Processing. A Senior IEEE Member, he is also affiliated with IAENG and IRED. Dr. Ramkumar actively reviews for IEEE, Elsevier, Springer, and other prestigious journals.
Prof. Dr. Manikandan S
Dr. S. Manikandan, Associate Professor in Biomedical Engineering at SIMATS, is a globally acclaimed expert in Medical Nanotechnology with a focus on biomedical applications. Ranked among the top 2% of scientists worldwide, he is a Recognized Supervisor for MS/Ph.D. students at Saveetha and Anna University. With over 14 years of expertise in nanotechnology, nanofluids, and tissue engineering, he has authored 60 international papers with 2,500+ citations, an H-index above 30, and an impact factor of 460. His contributions include patent filings, DST/DRDO-funded projects, and five book chapters. A GATE-2011 Biotechnology achiever, Dr. Manikandan excels in biomedical nanotechnology research and innovation.
